Riven Fitness ("we," "our," or "the app") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have regarding your data.
1. Information We Collect
Account Information
When you create an account, we collect your email address and display name. You may optionally provide a profile photo.
Fitness Data
We collect workout data you log in the app, including:
- Exercises performed, sets, reps, and weights
- Workout duration and completion timestamps
- Your workout split and schedule preferences
- Body measurements you choose to enter
- Equipment availability preferences
- Fitness experience level and goals
Usage Data
We collect anonymous usage data to improve the app, including which screens you visit and general usage patterns. This data is not tied to your personal identity.
Subscription Information
If you subscribe to Riven Premium, Apple handles all payment processing. We receive a confirmation of your subscription status but do not have access to your payment details, credit card number, or billing address.
2. How We Use Your Information
- Workout Generation: Your fitness data powers our algorithm to create personalized workout programs tailored to your goals, recovery status, and progression history.
- Training Momentum: We calculate your Training Momentum score based on workout consistency, performance trends, and muscle balance.
- Recovery Tracking: Workout data is analyzed to estimate muscle group recovery and prevent overtraining.
- Social Features: If you use the social feed, your completed workouts and profile info are visible to users you connect with.
- App Improvement: Anonymous usage data helps us understand which features are most useful and where to improve.
3. Data Storage & Security
Your data is securely stored using Supabase, which provides enterprise-grade security with row-level security policies, encrypted connections, and data stored in SOC 2 Type II compliant infrastructure.
All data transmission between the app and our servers uses TLS encryption.
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
We may share data only in the following circumstances:
- Social Features: Workout summaries you choose to share are visible to your friends on the platform.
- Legal Requirements: If required by law or to protect our rights.
5. Your Rights & Choices
- Access: You can view all your fitness data within the app at any time.
- Deletion: You can request full deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting us at support@rivenfit.app.
- Social Visibility: You can control what's visible on your profile through the app's privacy settings.
6. Children's Privacy
Riven Fitness is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or by email. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
